GA4 tracking is healthy

Your store is connected to GA4 and every purchase is sent with the right attribution. Auto Consent Mode is on.

Purchases sent to GA4

Last 7 days. Every paid order is sent once, from your server.

The status screen, in your Shopify admin.

Most stores find out tracking is broken weeks later.

Missing

Purchases never reach GA4.

Checkout events don't fire, so revenue goes missing.

Counted twice

The same order, twice.

Thank-you page reloads and overlapping tags inflate revenue.

Unnoticed

Tracking breaks silently.

A theme change, reinstall or cookie banner stops it, and nobody notices.

How it works

Every event, accounted for.

Watch each store event reach GA4, once.

  • Mapped to GA4's standard ecommerce events
  • Thank-you page reloads filtered out
  • A status for every purchase

FAQ

Questions, answered.

I already have GA4 or Google Tag Manager installed. Will this conflict?

Setup walks you through checking for other GA4 tags and what to turn off so orders aren't counted twice.

Does it work with the Shopify Basic plan?

Yes. Checkout and purchase tracking don't require Shopify Plus.

How does it avoid duplicate purchases?

Each order is identified by its Shopify order ID and sent to GA4 only once.

What happens if the browser blocks the purchase event?

The purchase is still delivered from Shopify's order data on our servers, so revenue isn't lost.

How long until I see data in GA4?

Realtime shows events within minutes. Standard GA4 reports can take up to 48 hours.

Do I need to edit my theme?

No. You enable an app embed from the setup screen.

Which consent mode should I choose?

If you use a cookie banner or sell into regions that require consent, start with Auto Consent Mode.

Will my data be shared or sold?

No. Data is used only to deliver events to your GA4 property. See our Privacy Policy.
